Spiced Nutty Cookies :- By Priya of "Priya's Versatile recipes"

There are bloggers I am always envious of. Some, due to their sheer brilliant style of writing, some for their creative recipes, some for the amazing drool worthy pictures they take .. and some for their passion towards Food blogging. Priya is one such veteran blogger I respect and am envious of at the same time, due to her dedication towards blogging and her creative recipes. Her blog “Priya’s versatile recipes” is one of most popular Indian blogs of this time. Be it any south Indian recipe, or any International bake or the simple condiments and dips.. she has a wide range of everything on her site. I am glad to post this guest post from her today which was supposed to go up for Christmas last year. But due to my lame excuse of not having any source of Internet that time in India I couldn't do it.

Some questions I asked her to get to know her more, are presented below. I am sure you will be as delighted to know her as I am :)

Where are you from?
Am from Pondicherry, a beautiful seashore city in Tamil Nadu, my city is a mixed culture of both Indian and French. Obviously am currently living in French Capital city Paris, been a Pondicherrian most of our grandparents have their French Citizenship and am one among those.

What are your hobbies apart from cooking ?
I have couple of hobbies, apart from cooking i just adore knitting, painting and stitching. A kind of stress buster for me, but now blogging and blog-hopping takes my full leisure time.

How did you come up with the name of your blog?
Initially i named my blog as Priya's Easy N Tasty recipes, but many of my fellow bloggers named me as a versatile blogger as i share some many recipes from different cuisine in my space, I was so tempted by the word 'Versatile' then one fine day i changed the name as Priya's Versatile Recipes. This is how i chose the name of my blog.

Do you have any other blog apart from this one?
Yes i have an another blog with simple, easy and quick recipes and i names it as Cook N Click.

When did you start blogging and why ?
Its been a while i started blogging, just entered to my 5th year of blogging few months back. Actually i cook variety foods at home and i was sharing in an another site to kill my leisure time, one day the admin of the site send me mail suggesting why dont i start a blog to put all my recipes under a roof, hence i started mine without any knowledge about creating a blog.

What keeps you going and motivated for blogging ?
My family i must say here, they keeps me motivating. Earlier blogging was just to kill my leisure time but now i can’t survive a day without blogging, the best part is blogging brought me a bunch of lovely friends and many followers around the world. They also motivates me by their encouraging words, this gives me more enthu to keep on going.

Which post in your blog you love most and why ?
I love each and every post of mine, but some are really very close to my heart, i must say i love very much my first trial with macarons.

Whats ur favourite cuisine?
After Indian cuisine, my favourite always goes to Thai cuisine and Chinese cuisine.
