Microwave Bread Halwa : Chocolatey delight

This Friday after dinner I was feeling soo lazy to make some weekend dessert. Thought of all sorts of Halwas but gone are the days when we had halwa puri every weekend. With all the diet and health stuff in mind, one can only think of guilt  free sweets :(

But still, I wanted to go for some halwa without the pain of roasting anything. Got some leftover bread in fridge.. La la lalla la la llalla... Lets make bread halwa.. Its instant, easy, yummy, yeah yeah its still sinful but then its worth it :)

Ingredients:
1. 4-5 slices of bread (I had brown bread)
2. 1/4 cup sugar
3. 2 tsp ghee
4. 1/4 cup roasted nuts ( I did not have any that time, so I didnt use)
5. 2 tsp grated chocolate ( I used dark chocolate )
6. 1 tsp cardamom Powder
7. 1 cup milk ( I used skimmed )

Method:
1. Tear the bread pieces and throw them in a Microwave safe bowl. Add sugar and microwave it high for 2 min.
2. Add milk and ghee and keep it again on high for 5-6 minutes.
3. Take out and churn well. The breads should be soggy and mildly roasted by now. You can increase the quantity of milk if the breads are not soggy yet.
4. Keep it again for 8-10 min on high. Keep stirring after every 2 min to check its not burn.
5. Transfer into bowls. Garnish with roasted cashews and grated chocolate. The delightful scene of chocolate melting over this pudding is mouth watering in itself.
