Oats n Peanuts Bits : Crunchy and wholesome

I love peanuts and love to incorporate them in almost everything I cook. The sweet and crunchy flavor they bring to the dishes is just wonderful. I have made Peanut butter cookies in past and they were awesome. These crusty flavorsome bites will surely hit your taste buds and craving for some more. Easy and quick to prepare..

Ingredients:
1. 1 cup All purpose flour 
2. 1/2 cup Oats , ground to powder 
3. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 
4. 1/3 cup Brown sugar 
5. 1/4 cup butter, at room temperature 
6. 1 large egg 
7. 1/4 tsp cinnamon, ginger powder, nutmeg each 
8. 1 tsp grated orange zest 
9. 1/4 cup chocolate, roughly chopped in small squares
10. 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, ground to powder

Method:
1. Use a baking tray and line with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 190 c 
2. Sift flour and baking powder into a large bowl. 

3. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix to a smooth dough by hand or by electric mixer. 
Preparing Orange zest 


4. Scoop 10-12 equal mounds of the mixture onto the baking tray, placing them about 2.5 cm apart. 
5. Bake for 12-15 min. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack to make them harder and crisp from outside.
