Idli Upma : from Leftover Idlis

Idlis are my super favorite meal. I can have them anytime of the day for any meal. In fact I can survive on Idlis if somebody asks me to :D ... I make them very often but since my food processor was not working, I could only relish on Rava idlis. Or rather I was making a fool of myself for a long time. I never knew that I can grind the perfect idli batter of rice and dal in the chutney jar of the Food processor, and like an idiot I kept on moaning for the absence of it. Anywaz, now that I have learnt from a friend that it can be done, am smiling again with pleasure of being able to make idlis again. And I jumped on the action the very next day I got to know the fact. And in my overwhelming excitement, prepared a lot more I could have eaten. S doesn't like it that much, hence this idli upma for breakfast... Shhh !! exclusively for me :)

An excellent breakfast for kids and adult kids too :)

1. 8-10 leftover idlis, cut into 4
2. 2 onions, sliced ( I like a lot of onion in my upma )

7. 1/4 cup curry leaves, washed

9. 1 tsp Chana dal, urad dal each
10. 2 tsp peanuts.
11. Cilantro for garnish
